American Direct and AccessNsite were brought on board at the beginning of the project to design and deliver a totally integrated safety and security solution for 119 resident units and common areas.
A Totally Integrated Safety and Security Solution
To streamline installation, reduce overall cost, and ensure reliable long-term security of the openings at Parkshore, American Direct pre-installed Sargent IN-120 IP Wifi locksets by ASSA ABLOY, which were also pre-programmed with AccessNsite access control software and delivered to the site ready to install.
By being able to provide pre-programed intelligent locks and turnkey access control software solution — as well as providing onsite installation and integration — American Direct and AccessNsite were able to save the client more than $100,000 on the project and significantly reduce installation time.
For example, on average, the cost per opening of a legacy opening is $2,750, and it typically takes a two-man crew a half day to install a single opening. The average cost of an intelligent opening is $1,650, and at Parkshore, on the first day of the Intelligent openings installation, 12 doors were installed.
As with any door openings project, the details at Parkshore made the difference.
