LENEXA, KS — AccessNsite, the security software division of American Direct, announced today a new way for AccessNsite users to interface with Allegion™ Schlage® NDE and LE wireless locksets: Wi-Fi mode. This option provides clients with an economical way to efficiently secure low-security areas, such as interior office doors, common area doors, and sensitive storage spaces.

With AccessNsite’s NDE and LE Wi-Fi integration, users can utilize pre-existing Wi-Fi to communicate with the locksets without needing to use an ENGAGE™ Gateway device, making installation easier and operation more efficient. Users also still have the option to use the existing functionality of interfacing via an ENGAGE Gateway, either directly over Ethernet or indirectly via a Mercury controller.

Robert Gaulden, project based business leader, EAC for Allegion, said, “We are excited to extend our relationship with AccessNsite to bring best-in-class security solutions to the market. Building on the trusted security of the Schlage LE or NDE wireless locks, customers will experience a smart and simple access control solution when integrated with AccessNsite.”

“We are committed to the ongoing investment and development of AccessNsite, and this is seen through the seven major software upgrades we’ve completed since 2016. Through those upgrades, we are continuing to provide our clients, partners, and end users with solutions that are smart, simple, and seamlessly integrate with all security and IT functions,” said Jerry Glynn, American Direct Chief Information Officer. “We understand that in today’s rapidly evolving safety and security market, commitment to ongoing innovation is critical in securing buildings, assets, and most important, human life.”

Together, American Direct and AccessNsite can integrate every facet of a building’s openings, from the mechanical and electronic components of the door structure to the software and hardware that manages and uses the flow of data. This totally integrated safety and security solution includes pre-construction consultation and design, specification and engineering, 8/28 integration, installation and maintenance, technical support, and aftermarket service through Fulfillment Centers located across the United States and American Direct’s Elite Integrator Partners.
