Starwood’s Aloft brand is highly focused on a modern, hip and urban image. In this day and age, that means seamless integration of technology into the hotel experience for all guests.

For its new downtown Denver hotel, Starwood wanted clients to be able to check in, get their room number and open their hotel room door all using Starwood’s cutting-edge smartphone app.

Solution

American Direct worked directly with a trusted supplier to procure access control elements that met the project’s narrow specifications. With American Direct’s guidance, the project was able to include electronic access control for 417 openings, allowing guests to enter not only their rooms, but amenities and common areas like the workout center, using only their cell phones.
